We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-focused QA / Software Tester to join Amsotics, a growing website design and software development agency. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, functionality, usability, and performance of websites, web applications, and software products developed by our team.
In this role, you will work closely with developers, UI/UX designers, project managers, and clients throughout the software development lifecycle. You will analyze project requirements, create test plans and test cases, identify and document defects, perform different types of testing, and work with developers to ensure issues are properly resolved before products are released.
The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and a structured approach to testing. You should be comfortable testing websites and web applications across different browsers, devices, operating systems, and environments, while ensuring that the final product meets both technical requirements and user expectations.

ROLE OVERVIEW
• Analyze project requirements, specifications, and user stories to understand testing needs.
• Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and checklists.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Test websites and web applications across different browsers, devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects and issues.
• Clearly communicate bugs and provide detailed steps to reproduce them.
• Work closely with developers to investigate, verify, and resolve reported issues.
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
• Validate UI functionality, user flows, forms, navigation, and interactive elements.
• Test APIs and backend functionality using appropriate testing tools when required.
• Perform basic database validation and verify data accuracy where necessary.
• Conduct performance and basic security testing when required.
• Verify websites and applications against design specifications and business requirements.
• Participate in release testing and ensure products meet defined quality standards before deployment.
• Maintain accurate testing documentation, reports, and defect records.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, project managers, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Suggest improvements to testing processes, workflows, and overall product quality.
• Stay updated with modern QA methodologies, testing tools, and industry best practices.
• Deliver testing activities within agreed project timelines and quality standards.
• 1–3+ years of professional experience in QA or software testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and QA processes.
• Experience testing websites, web applications, and software products.
• Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, usability, and compatibility testing.
• Experience creating test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and bug reports.
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, ClickUp, or similar project and issue-tracking platforms.
• Experience with browser developer tools and debugging basic frontend issues.
• Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript is preferred.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database testing is a plus.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar is an advantage.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser/device testing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies and edge cases.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to clearly document and communicate technical issues.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle and QA processes.
